Helping Our Community Grow
community partnerships
Gardens have always been settings of hope, positivity, and of course, growth -- and thanks to the efforts of many, Lafayette Elementary in Lafayette, CO now offers this vital resource to current and future generations. The elementary school has opened a portion of their garden for community use, inviting volunteers to contribute to the students’ education and environmental stewardship. Community support also helps to sustain the garden during breaks and summer months.
Our work with Lafayette Elementary
We worked alongside these supporters for several years with continuing development on Lafayette Elementary’s garden as well as their three playgrounds. Recently, we began replacing raised flower beds in areas being reestablished. That same weekend, our work was completed by members of the community.
Especially in troubling times like these, we would like to extend our thanks to the community and commend them for all the ways they serve. We’re proud to work with you, and we can’t wait to see you all in person again!
