The goal of this project was to meet the District's needs of a diverse landscape with low water requirements. This includes the use of native grasses, low water use hybrid Bluegrass blends, and strategic use of traditional Bluegrass in high-use areas. DCLA developed a scheduling program to minimize their watering window using custom application rates for the varying landscape areas. We provided a system that allows the District fine control for adjusting scheduling to avoid conflicts with school site uses.

Design Concepts is an M/WBE, SBE Landscape Architecture design firm with the City and County of Denver and a DBE under the US Department of Transportation’s Colorado Unified Certification Program (UCP).
